But 2 things happened - I found out you could lace boots differently so that some of the foot has more space. I have wide feet so this helped a lot. The second thing is that I wore the boots a lot over the last 3 years. The shaped to my foot. Now they feel closer to slippers.
That said, my next pair is going to be the larger size.
