>>2614901With exception to two heavy winter jackets, 100% of my mid and outer layers are Patagonia.
I used to have a Kuhl Technical Hoodie though, or maybe it was called a Mountain Hoodie, I can’t remember, but that thing was awesome. I don’t really see anyone else making similar hoodies and I’ve thought about getting a new one, but I haven’t yet.
I also had a pair of Kuhl quick drying shorts that were great, I used them on a beach camping trip and they worked as board shorts and hiking shorts and around town shorts and sleeping shorts. I pretty much only took them off to go out to restaurants or hike through thick jungle or whatever else I needed pants for. I never really had to wash them either because I was in the ocean with them almost everyday, or I’d wear them while taking one of those public beach showers, or if I was inland that day there was usually freshwater rivers with pools to swim in, so the shorts just never really had a chance to get soiled for the whole 3 month trip.
I’d buy those shorts again but wrangler makes a really similar pair with the same stretchy quick dry fabric for only $20 and I just buy those now. I get the wrangler pants with the same fabric.
Except for the Torrentshell rain pants, Patagonia stuff below the waist is mostly trash in my opinion, but I like relaxed cuts and Patagonia pants are tight fitting for twinks and people with tiny little stick legs.
