I got olive oil. I also got a lot of lavender. Would it be possible to mix em to make a perfume that'd tell ticks to fuck off from my legs when picking berries next week? Or would olive oil be a bad oil for it?

I don’t think lavender oil is a stronk enuff deterrent for ticks. It kind of keeps mosquitoes and black flies at bay for a while. Pants tucked into socks and some strong deet spray on your clothes will do the trick though

Also since it’s going on your skin, I would say coconut oil is better. I think it’s also something of bug deterrent itself
