I've got 2 Palomino rabbits I'm breeding for meat, kinda new to doing it myself.

I want to make a larger enclosure for the mother and babies to live in. I built the current enclosure with chicken wire on the bottom to keep them from burrowing, but do I really need it? Is there another floor idea that lets the grass grow but keeps them in/ predators out?
