What waterproof/resistant gloves do you recommend for cold, wet, and windy conditions?
Bought a cheap pair that were waterproof enough but bulky and let the wind in through the side seams

No glove that doesn't impede you way too much will stay waterproof for long if you're doing serious work, so get one in a material that insulates when wet and layer like this: thin disposable cotton glove > disposable nitrile glove > insulating outer glove that you like.

Based. A leather gloves to keep the wind off and a merino inner glove is what you want. There’s some shell gloves made from goytex infinium that look interesting but I’m still apprehensive about buying anything goytex again as it never justifies the premium they charge.

Mechanix are cheap knockoffs of Bionic. Technically Mechanix came first but the guy that made them was a mechanic and the guy that made the bionic gloves was an orthopedic surgeon that specialized in hands.. Bionic are noticeably better.
