The snowpack is very stable but the still the occasional slides that catch people out. The big hazard are the geo thermal creeks that stay flowing all winter and form these deep sink holes that you'll likely never get out of if you fall in, the sides will just keep falling in on you. Their pretty hair raising to navigate, since a lot the best skiing down the steep gully's runs into them.
