Hey ultralighters, when it comes specifically two person tents, not for use with a trekking pole, what tents do you have experience with?
I've been searching for info on them and prices and reviews seem to be all over the place. I've seen some tents that would be called 'ultralight' but then cost more than my first car, require a pole or stick, and then have reviews where people say the material was crap and rips under normal use, and weight north of 3 pounds. And the others that cost less than $100 and have great reviews and don't require you also buy a pole and weigh less than 3 pounds. It's kind of all over the place and I'm not sure how to cut through the fog here.
I already own a 1P tent that weights a fair bit.
