I used to have a 1998 KLR650 and loved it to death. Ended up selling it to buy a car. I've been wanting another dual sport for a long time now, but have never ridden anything else. How do the XR650L or DR650 compare? Looking in the $3000 price range.
I live in northern California, and have good friends in Oregon and Arizona I want to visit, and I can't think of a more fun way than on a dual sport.
