What is the optimal set up for bass fishing off a bank?
I'm going to the French river(Ontario) and want to out fish my friends
Mostly a drinking trip, but some fishing is done. More as we get older
Only bringing one rod. Just a cheap 7' medium action Uglystick Elite combo
Don't want to change out the line(8lbs mono) so mainly going for bass
Or can you fish for pike on this set up too? Would switch before trip if a 12-14lbs would work.
What lures/bait are best for fishing off the bank?
