Nearby island is having an event that exceeds the ferry schedule so I must find somewhere to camp. The campsites will all be packed with probably no hope of getting in. The area has a beach and a thin forest around with little to no hobo settlements but I am not as familiar with this part of the island. I have a single child tent with no rainfly and the walk there takes 2 hours. Please give advice for camping alone, animals, and perhaps how to ask people at the event if i can stay in their yard lol.
