I bought these Vasque hiking boots in 2009 or 2010. They were worn for about 100 miles of hikes total, and that's it, stored away in a temperature and humidity controlled box forever. As you can see I didn't know how to take care of the felt properly and it was slightly water-damaged. On one of the boots, the rubber toe cap looks like it's separating from the felt by like half a mm. I imagine someone experienced with this stuff knows how to probably epoxy that to stop it from getting worse.
I have no need for these anymore, they're too heavy. Does anyone ever trade here? I'm in Georgia and need basically anything to get started /out/, or would just sell them cheap also to someone from here.
If you care about "funk", these conquered Sumter National Forest, Pinnacle Mountain in South Carolina, and Raven Cliff Falls. :)
