Groups larger than 6 are a nightmare. The hiking gets slower and the slower the more people you have. Injuries and gear failures are more common. Finding a large group spot for even half a dozen can be challenging. There are often rules against larger groups (I think 12 is the max in most NF’s).
Lots of retard-tier stuff going on, like brining food in a tent or not being able to understand time constraints. I’ve seen rodents tear into people backpacking is, tents, and various bags probably half a dozen times.
There’s no way all 100 are going to be hiking from one camp spot to another. The logistics would be impossible, unless there are huge fields that are a days hike from one another.
I used to organize a backpacking group with 120+ members. We kept the group size to 6.
