>>263149Well, you some natural materials depending on the forest you are in. In pine forest the needles work wonders.
But first things first, try to ration plan around meals that dirty a few dishes as possible (ie one pot meals)
The best method to clean up is using hot water, but I with practice you will not waste any of it and can keep it potable.
The cleaner you can get your pots and pans with physical scraping and scouring the better (this is where needles and etc come in handy, using a scrubby etc.)
After removing as much of the food waste as possible, use a all amount of hot water to continue cleaning. DON'T USE SOAP, YOU DON'T NEED IT. I've spent years as a field instructor with various different programs and guiding on my own, you don't need soap, all you need is physical scraping and hot water, if you can cook well without making a mess or burning your food, you will be fine.
The water you used to cook with is now great for an after dinner hot drink like cocoa or tea or even coffee if you're into an after dinner coffee. If you removed as much food waste as possible, the "grey water" from cooking should be fairly clean.
