Short of widespread species-specific chemical warfare, it's all fucked. In a generation or two the southeast US will be covered in kudzu and lanternflies, all the woods gone. Feels bad man

it's crazy how many of the most destructive invasive species all come from asia. Are there any north american species that have royally fucked the global east in the same way? Am I nuts or does it feel totally one-sided?

yeah, but it's generally domestic pets like slider turtles in Europe and raccoons in Japan
There's also a variety of fish and plants, not much in the way of bugs from what I found
