That’s good you’re going to the gym OP, but that treadmill probably doesn’t go above 10% grade.
A stair stepper would be much better for uphill training

And there are 4 stairs steppers no one uses, it's great. And row machines and everything for free weights and machines. I just never really looked at the settings on a treadmill, and sure enough this thing has some mountain climbing shit I love it

Nearly all gym quality treadmills go above 10% grade. The latest cardio craze is called “12-3-30,” which is simply setting a treadmill at 12% and walking 3mph for 30 minutes.

Treadmills in general are just bad for your knees. If you're going to use a treadmill, at least use the assault runner curve that won't fuck your knees.
