When I was out on a mountain trip with my ex and a few other fellow tourists I found out that I'm afraid to look up to the sky whilst on a high land (i.e. a landscape of mountains ranging from 1700-2100m, not too high).
I was having a panic attack while walking around the campsite (which was put right on a large mountain valley) and had to wear a cap in order to not have a glimpse on sky.
But whenever I went downhill or was surrounded by trees I felt completly okay, and I think it was because my visibility was filled with something, rather than large and almost limitless mountain valleys and sky.

Has anyone had this? Are there any ways to relax in such situtation? I don't think it's agoraphobia because my situation doesn't really fit the description of it and I feel completly fine when among the people.
