>>2633644>any budget brand recommendations?Mora fixed blades are unbeatable in terms of price-performance ratio. I prefer the Companion because the handle is very neutral and comfortable; the Basic handle is too small for my hands.
When it comes to flippers, Civivi, Kizer and Ruike are all putting out very high quality products for the price. The Ruike P801 used to be and probably still is the best budget flipper on the market for years (14C28N, frame lock, caged bearings for $35). The Button Lock Elementum (1st generation) is amazing and incredibly fidgety, smooth action, great steel, great ergonomics for a ~$75 knife. Better than a Bitchmade Bugout in my opinion. Discontinued though so you'll have to shop around. Kizer has a ton of good flippers as well. Ka-Bar Dozier Folding Hunter might be a really good pick up as well, simply judging by the materials and geometry and low cost.
