1 Going /out/ in a 2wd road car isn't ideal
2 Get a ute
3 Get a trailer that you can actually load up with supplies
4 Bikes are rwd drive so in that pic I imagine you'd be wearing the shit out of your bikes running gear or spending ages disconnecting shit

Small cars usually have a class 2 hitch with a 200lb tongue weight although you can get a class 2 hitch that gas a 350 lb tongue weight. I'm guessing that's why it's being towed, to heavy. My dirtbike carrier is this.

Hitch carriers are cheap and easy to use, I prefer having my bike more locked down and closer to my vehicle for transport than something like OPs pic.
