I recently got an Austrian scythe to cut my yard with. I have to say that I'm pretty blown away with how much I've enjoyed cutting grass with this thing. It is extremely relaxing and meditative. Peacefully swinging away with the breeze and the birds. I've thought for a while about eventually getting mules or draw horses and pulling mule-drawn farming equipment through the fields.
Anyone have anything interesting to share about their experiences using 'primitive' tools like these?
