if you have under $2000, get a single needle brother hobbie machine, and brothers digitizing software. ther are cheaper 4 needle machines that are like 1.5-5k however they are always chinese, fall apart, and have 0 resell value
if you wanna blow money not knowing much tajima sai (8 needles) - $10,000 ish and the software they give you will run you another 600-1000 ish dollars
anything more than that and you're getting into the $20,000+ range and yearly 1k+ dollar subscriptions for software
