>>2638396Place a tarp under the tent. Get a tent with a vestibule that can be closed, so that you have a spot where you can cook when it's raining and store items that can withstand the moist morning air.
Find a decorative carpet that fits inside your tent, place a regular 1 person matress inside the tent and use normal bedding. Leaves you with ~40cm of space from matress to entrance. You are not moving camp so you don't need camping equipment.
Get a little night stand for a lamp and to store personal items. Maybe get a solar powered string of lights with day/night sensor.
A small instrument can also kill time and a block of paper and a pencil for writing and drawing also cost nothing.
