My side of the mountain, by Jean Craighead George is awesome. About 100 pages in a small paperback, easily read in a night or two. It makes me wanna live in a tree the rest of my life after reading it.
It's about a young boy who moves out of the city and into the Catskills mountains, and makes a new life for himself raising a baby falcon, etc... Pretty good read if I don't say so myself
