stargazing and photograpppy is cool too. my favorite app lateley has been something called "daff moon" it's an awesome tool for stargazing and navigation.

I often find myself in the woods with a metal detector with meteorites in the back of my mind.

meteorites can be worth a shitton as I understand it. when i was a kid my brother and I saw one land in the woods behind the house. had a weird blue flash. problem is it's impossible to judge where it would have landed... was it 500 feet in the woods, was it actually a mile away, etc. Never found it or any evidence of it.
