i wanted to do innawoods farm
but even if i did it really, really cheap it would have cost tens of thousands to develop the land after buying it
lots of equipment and tools
and a lot of money to maintain everything
and there usually isnt much work in the cheap areas
so i found a house in a shrinking prairie town and 2 acres worth of lots for 15k
i buy most of my produce farmer direct for super cheap
pork 75c a pound, buffalo $1 a pound, grain $10 a bushel, fall root vegetables 20 to 40c a pound
great soil for my big garden
theres abandoned orchards everywhere, great hunting
lots of work too
