I didn't realise how insanely monotonous the UK climate was until I started looking at these for other countries, is this something you guys are interested in? Any other countries with insane climate diversity or unusual patterns? I don't come to this board often. God Bless

Look up the mega diverse countries, and also micro climates. Most macroscale maps are using hundreds or thousands of single point stations to derive the climate, when there are actually many thousands of more places than slip through because they are microscale. Many climate classifications are also incomplete, for example W North America has no less than a dozen unique climate types that fit into either two or more Koppen types or fall between two Koppen types.
