i recall there being some debate about it before they were ever launched and this was one of the contentions, not to mention the potential for added obstacles, space debris/junk being added to LEO
when i first saw the in the night sky, i thought woah shit that's weird. a little corner of my brains wanted to think alien UFOs or secret spy satellites or whatever fantastical thing.
then I instantly thought, oh shit its those damn starlink birds.
i dont like it because yes, for my taste its a little too obtrusive on the natural sky view.
I know we have alot of stuff in orbit but much of it isn't noticeable to the casual viewer like me.
Starlink sats are glaring and obvious.
If they only plan to add more and more of those things, our night sky is going to look like shit
