Anyone else just never get ticks no matter what? I don't know what it is about me but thankfully those little fuckers have no interest. Even if I've been walking through lots of tall thick grass in shorts, I've never once had a single tick on me. Midges and mosquitoes are the bane of my life, they swarm on me but ticks just seem to disregard me.

Ticks are hyper local. You can be in thick stuff and not get a one and then you go five miles down the road and it is crawling with them. If you spend most of your time in the same wood and it doesn't have very many you might hardly ever see them.

For the past 3 or 4 years I haven't had a tick on me at all despite being outdoors and wading in brush a ton. Lots and lots of chigger bites, but 0 (and i mean zero) ticks. Used to get them all the time growing up. Idk why.

Not tick related but I spent the day out in the mountains last weekend and it seems I brought home some fleas. I believe they have bred and are multiplying. I have about 20 flea bites all over my body. How do I get rid of them? I spent 40 minutes vaccuming my furniture and I got more bites shortly after on my foot.
