Let us take it very slow, for slow cretins like yourself: you take a train if you want to run a long distance without driving;
if such is the case, then you're far from worthy outdoors (outdoors such as the mountains you can reach from the Bergamo station), this often means a town or city (Milan for example, Milano-Bergamo trait is where a rape happened in broad daylight judging by one of the articles I posted);
in light of that, you will have to take one of the "Best trains in the world" I put in my posts with real life greentext links;
if you do this, you expose yourself to the kind of animals in the aforementioned areas, and that is without mentioning the bus or local train you'll need to get to a hub station or what you call it. That is how it works in Lombardy, which I used as example, and all of the rest of Europe as far as I know. Even if you got no human trash on your train, you'll find it in and around every station.

Take all the public transport you fancy, I value myself more than that and will advise people to do the same.
