>>2649528there are historic records of heckers selling usless shit in midst of disaster panic. Every pandemic had it's "snake oil" magic remedy. Just google what people were buying in 1999, you can't make this shit up
The ones from OP's pictures aren't the worst, just cheap-ish. Good powerbank with jumpstarter can be very useful (especially if your car battery died during cold weather), the one they're showing looks like shit tho
Fuck emergency radios, overpriced. I have android phone with FM radio built-in already, so just get folding solar panel instead, you can charge shitton of other things with it too
The power station they're showing is again tiny and cheap. The medium ones are useful as they can be used to power your freezer for short period of time, probably preventing food spoliage for a day or two. If you don't have any life saving medical equipment at home. For that price you can probably build a solar panel outside, 12V battery, converter and regulator (if needed) set.
Real preps are not being prone to panic, having common sense, having your health in order, physical fitness, being close with your family, having good relations with neighbours, skills, WATER, FUEL AND FOOD STORAGE. Can a pistol and first aid kit help? Only if you know how to use them. If you're not living in the city/suburbia you're already 80% better than most people
