Wondering what I should take if I wanna live outdoors while constantly moving with no home (bare with me, I'm autistic). Some stuff I've thought of packing:
Backpack
Multi knife
Tooth brush/floss
3 pairs of each clothing
Winter gear
Sleeping Bag
Sun glasses
Laptop
Backup drives
Phone
Wallet
Lunch Bag
Water bottle
Towel
Bike
Medicine
Live in Canada, which is why I specified winter gear. Was also thinking of bringing a tent, but dunno how portable those can be. Up for any extra tips :p
Sorry for the poor formatting, if you have any other tips for things I should bring, lemme know.

Look into thruhiking. Tents can be very portable.

just take some short starter trips and note every moment you have where you think "man if only i had this", or "this wouldve been useful" and just trim the fat/add what you need.
i would suggest some form of light rain protectant for your electronics, like ziploc/garbage bags depending on size. weighs nothing but adds a layer of protection if needed.

what backpack are you bringing? send pics if you can.

also, look into "backpacking" tents and lightweight sleeping bags. youll realize very quickly that youll want some kind of roof over your head the moment the climate gets harsher.

Treat it like a game and design your starter pack accordingly. Considering that your not just washing up naked on the beach should boost moral so any amount of reasonable preparation will do. Sleep, clothing and nutrition are the things you don’t want to cheap out on.

Gear wise it’s tricky as you basically want a small packsize bedroll tent type of setup and i think it hasn’t really been invented yet so you gotta patchwork together your own sleeping system. Tent type of shelters are superior imo and you don’t have to be all stealth about it just be presentable and you won’t be bothered.

Merinowool for clothing especially socks and underwear preferably 100% merino full body but top layers can be synthetic mixed as it won’t touch skin much. 2 of each clothing piece is enough if you get quality material as it will dry very fast so you can just rotate once or twice a week. If you eat clean and use wipes you can probably go for up to 2 weeks.

Nutrition gets easier with that kind of lifestyle because cooking is overrated. Eat high quality unprocessed/raw fruit and vegetables or whatever exotic seasonal stuff you can find in your area. Get used to raw eggs and get some dried or precooked meat from decent sources. Cheap processed food is not worth it and you are better of fasting until you can get your hands on some decent food again.

Checked. Dude it's nuts. I just ignore 90% of the posts on this board. There are like 5 people here who are actually normal and enjoy the outdoors the way I do.

Anon, you can get tents which weigh just as much as a laptop. Also, I wouldn't recommend bringing a laptop. You will have very little use for it and unlike a phone, it's going to be a lot harder to keep it waterproofed. Not to mention, once the battery runs out then realistically you're going to need to find somewhere to charge it because you'll want to save any power banks you have for your phone in case of emergencies.
Like everyone else has suggested, the best thing you can do is go camping for a weekend. Work out from there what you use and don't use. One thing that doesn't get mentioned a lot though is to have a decent amount of money saved. If you are essentially homeless by choice then there are going to be times where it's freezing cold, you're wet and even your waterproof clothes have basically soaked through and you haven't showered in ages and you feel like shit. At times like that you're going to want/need somewhere to stay and sort yourself out and dry all your stuff. If you don't have money, you can't pay for a hotel for a night or two.
