teacher gave us a map and compass and we would spend few hours going around the marked spots solo it was really fun
come the winter we would do the same but this time with skis and if there was no snowfall it was pretty easy because you could see the tracks teacher had left on previous week while putting up the goalposts
these days i hear they dont even ski in preschool and some people literally learn how to ski and use compass in the army and that too is mandatory now
i do feel really blessed while thinking all this
