Earth has updated folks. Honestly it's pretty lame, the old controls were far better and easy to use. Now you have to press shift and then touchpad/arrows to do anything and it's glitchy as hell, keeps spinning after you've stopped, ends up miles away. The compass arrow randomly disappears on you. You're logged in to your google account to, so my schizo ass feels like I'm being tracked. The screen shape is annoying too, doesn't need that anoying bar uptop at all. It's 18mm on my screen, so add that to the google bar It's 35mm, which is insanely annoying since you can see whats behind the bar. Why are web developers like this? Leave the controls how they were for the last 15 years thanks.

The 3D effect though, looks amazing, really really good. So I guess that is a positive.

Anyway I love google earthing so this is a big event in my pretty boring life. I know I can use google earth pro but I've always preferred the web one.
