it's good for 1-3 night trips in cold/dry areas. as long as you aren't expecting rain of any kind it's a pretty nice tent but if you are going for longer or if weather is going to be more mixed there's better options.

I use a V4A and Hilleberg Akto in the mountains. Its possible to pitch them on rock despite what people say. You just have to practice. Wind even storm is no problem.
