>>266749>torture industriesill tell you the same thing i told some vegan on /ck/ the other day. if you dont like meat dont fucking eat meat. i do like meat, im going to fucking eat meat. ive been to farms, ive seen the those hippy farmers in action. the animals they have live a great life, and the people responsible for them genuinely care. i have no problem, not even a slight twinge of conscience (coming from a guy who lays awake at night thinking of every way ive ever wronged someone, even insects, it tortures me, but i dont expect you to believe that) the animals live an amazing life, lounging in the shade when its warm, lounging in the sun when its cool. eating when they want, shitting where they want. while i slave away to pay for them to live like that. i choose to waste my money providing an animal to live like that, because i want whats best for them, and whats best for me. if you choose to only buy from puppy mills or from the slaughter houses that are 'torture industries' or buy your vegetables from migrant workers that are literally slaves and not allowed to leave (some are) and treated like shit, thats on your conscience, but i dont, i wont. be an informed consumer, and help solve the problem, or keep your fucking worthless mouth shut and dont talk about shit which you know nothing about.
as for hunters, all those animals are going to die eventually. would you rather have them die enjoying their life, grazing peacefully on a nice tasting (whatever animals eat, grass or leaves depends on the animal etc) or would you rather have them starve to death, or die slowing from disease. i saw one time a moose literally ripped its own skin off because it had so many ticks infested in it (a documentary of course not in person) or would you rather have the animal run out, exhausted, and frightened, while wolves tear it to pieces while its still alive.
so tell me again, why is hunting so much worse than those 'torture industries' you seem to care so much about?
