>>2658405>Is there any place on the east coast that even remotely looks like this?Outside of Canada, no. As others have mentioned, there are nice alpine tundra zones in Maine and New Hampshire. Adirondacks has some, but for whatever climate reason, the tree line is higher in NY than in NH so only a few of the high peaks have tundra. There's are some large areas of bedrock exposed from landslides (which is mostly what you're seeing in the pictures anons have posted so far).
Simply talking about views of exposed bedrock, there's Letchworth State Park in Western NY. I'm not sure how much free roam adventuring you can do there, though. It's very touristy overall. I don't really think it's what OP is looking for but figured I may as well mention it.
