Anyone got any insight into decent, sturdy and quality dynamo (wind up) torches (flashlights)

Looking for a strong sturdy, droppable one that is compact, also ideally with a USB charger that works well enough in emergencies.

The little wind up multifunction radios are junk, same as the power banks that have a small solar cell on the side or the shake lights.
Once you learn how solar cells work you'll realise that ones that small are a gimmick to con you out of your money.

In priorities order:
Light>compactness>weight>USB ability to hold basic charge.

What you suggested was simple a clunky dynamo generator.

Doesn't exist, would be a gimmick, each of your requirements would be poor quality and sub standard.

Buy a good led torch, use rechargeable batteries, use olight usb nimh/li-ion charger, use a good quality solar panel/hand generator.

Olight is ok, but they use proprietary chargers and batteries. Better of with a fenix that uses usbc and standard rechargeable batteries.

Kind of BS though, I used to have a very simple and small dynamo light and it worked perfectly fine for years.
Not as compact and ight as I woulkd have wanted as it was a gift and lost my gear so need to replace it, but there are many cheap and easily replaceable compact, light (weight) lights out there.
Just any once that have any sort for USB charger, well the dynamo doesn't seem to allow the USB charge from the battery but only the dynamo which means a wind up charger which is a pain the ass.
