Anyone climbed Fuji in the off season? I'm going to be in Japan in March and wanted to climb it but I don't want to die.

You can do it if you have high alpin experience. I never climbed fuji because its too touristy and its just a volcano type of endless slope incline.

You really don't need much for alpine experience for off season Fuji, simply crampons and an ice axe with little experience work fine.
