I've worn a burmese longyi in Myanmar. I donned one to larp in with the locals at first even though I am tall and White.
The man skirt instantly dropped my body temp 10+ degrees, I stopped feeling the rank humidity, and I was amazed at the comfort as my balls hung freely. Win despite looking like a tacky tourist.
I also wear an Enlightened Equipment rain kilt /out/, sometimes with nothing underneath, when the weather is horking horizontal rain or sleet.
Longyi's are cotton, kilts are wool. Innawoods, either could be comfy depending on conditions.
See how it goes and report back. Your only loss is inability to run fast if needed and a damaged piece of expensive cloth. Also, ticks and other pests may latch underneath, and sasquatch may be attracted, so you might end up walking funny in the morning.0gjwnx
