Canada certainly has more uninhabited territory though.. but it is hard to get a grip on what this actually entails considering the vast swathes which are truly frozen wasteland (all jokes aside).
Again I'm not knocking Canada, but in the US you have so much more... desert, sub tropical, tropical, temperate subtropical, temperate, prairie, Alaska, PNW coastal, etc. It just seems insane to me to rank Canada above the US given this reality.
