I don't put other shit on my helmet because I personally don't like stuff riding around on my head. Four gas meter, survey meter, radio, SOS beacon, etc. all go on my hip, chest, or into the pack.
I do not recommend the Black Diamond Storm, or any other AA or AAA battery headlamp. The duration of battery life is not helpful. My partner is using the Black Diamond Icon 700. I recently swapped my headlamps for a knockoff of the one the guy in these pictures
