>>2689274Hey OP, I also live in western Germany, but I'm American so trying to get the woods experience as much as at home. I've done a good bit of hiking and stealth/wild camping around NRW, but it's difficult while using public transit to get places. Not sure if you have a car or not, but it's not too bad. Also, while in many places in the US it's fine to go hiking/camping with a firearm, even larping with fake ones is stupid here.
>>2691621 this is one of the dumbest ideas I've ever seen. Regardless, the STALKER challenges are larpy but the point is to get you to go outside and have fun, so wear some milsurp or something and go camping. Also not sure if you're new here, but it's not like there's anyone keeping score on these or anything, they're just for fun.
I'll also share my patented style of finding cool places to go innawoods:
> open google maps> look around for things that look interesting (rivers, tall hills, large tracts of forest, the terrain map view is good for this)> check out pictures if there are places like parks or lookouts nearby which people have left reviews for> go there with the train and bus and have funThat's all there is to it. My biggest point is that if you're going inna in Europe, forget about the guns aspect since it's 99% larping, and the actual challenges don't matter, just use it to get out there and off the internet. Viel Spaß!
