German anon first time posting here since it's too offtopic for pol

I live near the french border and was planing on driving to Verdun sometime this year as I have always been fascinated by war and archelogy type stuff.

There's still visible trenches, rusted barbed wire, tons upon tons of unexploded munitions, human remains and other cool artifacts in the woods.

Was thinking of maybe bringing along a spade and a metal detector but I will be careful because I don't actually want to blow myself up or set off a chemical shell and gas myself.

Will definitely update here and post pics of the stuff I find when I'm there.
