my only hobby is hiking and doing shit outdoors which means most of the time im alone, im 22, i dont smoke or drink, is there some secret outdoor club where people my age meet people in the woods? all the meet up apps are full of boomers

I believe there's outdoor groups on facebook if you're into the whole social media thing. You might also try talking to people at the gym; there's a bit of an overlap between fitness and some of the outdoor interests.

Im in it now and the group ranging from all ages are very tight knit. You get to learn about trees and shit with frequent field trips.

My course has a fair portion of technology like GiS and LiDar and shit so maybe it would burn you out further.
Maybe im missing the point, you asked how to meet people being outdoorsy. Most people in my class take forestry for a future job working alone lol

Facebook is your best option. Join a local outdoor page, post that you’re going to a specific place but don’t list a specific time or date, then see who responds. If it’s not a demographic you want then you didn’t lose anything.

if not, volunteer for your DCNR and slay granola feminist chicks.

The best answer is you get a job that lets you bust your outdoors nut all day for a living so you can come home and put all your energy into social life and networking, or other hobbies. professional foragers and mushroom farmers make a nice profit doing what they'd do for free.
