And from a "preparedness" point of view, you shouldn't really do something with your resources that intentionally diminishes their effectiveness when other reasonable choices exist. I've though often about doing a little cabin somewhere but when I look at all the possible options, there were always clearly more effective things to do. Story of my life I guess: I almost feel like I have never really made any actual choices in my life since every possibility that was open to me had only a very few (or even just one) obvious "best" choice(s)
Anyway, I'm probably running my mouth too much at this point. tl;dr if you want a cabin and think you'd use it a bunch, hell, go for it. People need to chase their "happy" so all the best to you
