In the last 2 years a lot of out spots and trails have been fenced off and private signs put up in my area.
A large off road lake (where I first slept with my wife in the back of my truck) has been a fishing spot for 50 years. The trail heads are now fenced off.
An abandoned community center with a pond has been closed for 30 years and used as a fishing spot without problem the entire time. 1 year ago a gate was put across the lot entrance, I parked and walked in with my kid, now there is a full fence around everything.
We had a large network of trails used for missing that has been closed off too.

Is this a black rock thing? Have these places been bought up by equity firms instead of old grandpas who don’t care?
