What part of North America has the least amount of ticks, black flies and mosquitoes? I am interested in wwoof work on a farm somewhere, but I don't want to have to deal with these things while I'm there. I'm guessing the Southwest probably has the least, but the Africanised nigger bees and scorpions don't seem like a great trade off. I heard that coastal areas were better, and was thinking of either Newfoundland, P.E.I. or Oregon.
