>>2704876I know this reads like an ad but fuck it, I like really large packs. My favourite pack is the berghaus vulcan 4 cyclops 2, 110L, comes in 4 sizes, 1 being the smallest and 4 the largest for 6' tall people and up. let me see if i can find the size chart.
It's honestly the most comfortable and functional pack i have ever had. the british army pack was based on it however the army version doesn't have a hip strap, it has a waist strap, which doesn't distribute the weight as well, because it was designed to go above a utility belt, so it's actually nowhere near as comfortable to wear for long hikes.
even 30kg with the vulcan feels like nothing.
regarding sizes you can usually handle one size down if you are at the low end of a size bracket and/or skinny.
