Don't get me wrong.
I love hammocks.
They're very cozy and practical and light weight.
But there is definitely a pretentious community/cult around them.
300 dollars for an underquilt?
I just made a diy one, slap a mylar tarp/blanket on it for winter, and call it a day.
I'm going to invest in lighter fluid hand warmers for hammock camping soon.

Sting is good though. It has a 60l base, and 2 10l bags that can attach to molle and detach to form a smaller day pack.
It's modularity is somthing I value.
I attached a molle first aid kit to the outside.
Probably will have munition satchels striped if I go hunting with it.

I posted my pack and it doesn’t fit your description but might be marketed as ultralight. Compared to the same manufacturers Packa is about 30% lighter and 2/3 the price.

Should I ask again for examples of these packs you were talking about that are only 10% lighter and 2x the price, or will you just keep saying I’m wrong without bringing anything to the conversation or using your words like an adult?
