>>2707162>wasn't sure about further into the middle of the state with Nellis, NTTR, etc. thoughIf you thought that the public land around the Carson Valley was cool, the rest of the state's public land access puts it to shame, and that's saying something. Especially the central portion of the state. There are bombing ranges and surprise Air Force bases hidden in plain sight in the desolate unpopulated areas out there, places that no anon on this board would even know the name of.
I currently live in the Carson Valley. I was born here, and I've lived in various parts of Northern Nevada. Bay Area transplants have absolutely fucked the real estate market. If you want to experience the Carson Valley, this is the only time to do it. This is already the beginning of the end of it. This is my favorite place in the world to live, and I will be sad when I move away, but I refuse to live in an overly-urbanized crime-ridden metropolitan shithole. They did it to Reno, they are doing it to Carson City, they will do it to Gardnerville and the surrounding area. I would strongly encourage you to move here and enjoy it before it's completely shot to shit.
