Power setup for converting a box trailer?

No.2715317 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
I plan on converting a 22ft box trailer into a camper with the intent on living out in the woods or somewhere tucked away. Rent is at unobtanium levels, and I'd prefer to get out of the game by having at least my own "pad". Right now my budget is very limited but I have the tools to at least start tearing the wood out and replacing the panels. I want the camper to be almost entirely self sufficient, with the exception of water which would need to be refilled. Power would come in the form of solar and power banks, with a hookup if I'm parked at a site.
While I've done the research when it comes to the plumbing and some of the electrical, I'm still wondering what setups would be best both in terms of price and ease of install. The trailer will be torn down inside, but I see self contained kits from companies like Anker, diy kits where you hook up batteries and control panels, it's kind of confusing.
I'm wondering what kind of power system is best. I want something that can power the whole camper for a couple days off batteries and during non-use hours charge via solar. What's ideal for a boondocking type of setup? Any tips on camper life would be appreciated as well.
